have you found the love of your life and you're ready to tie the knot?

there are a couple different reasons I recommend an engagement session with me. first off, i offer a cheaper engagement rate when you book a wedding package with me! save where you can, weddings aren’t the cheapest! 

secondly, an engagement session will allow for you to get to know your photographer. i’ll take notes during our session of how you two interact with each other, your individual personalities and even your quirks. all of those details will help me capture moments on your wedding day that are unique to just the two of you! 

and lastly, engagement sessions are also good for just having good, professional photos done of you two. there are endless things you can do with them, for example; give them as gifts (your parents and grandparents would LOVE a copy), you can create a small album for your coffee table that all your guests can look at when they are over visiting, order prints to hang in your home, use these images on your save-the-date/wedding invitations or frame and put them out on your wedding day for everyone to view!

for your engagement shoot we can discuss the perfect location for these to take place. i offer one session an evening during ‘prime time’ to ensure i get the best light of the day that make your images really pop with rich colors. you just can’t beat an Oklahoma sunset. i DO recommend shooting your engagement session somewhere other than your wedding venue. you will have a full day of photos taken at your venue the day of your wedding so it’s nice to have pictures taken elsewhere to have two totally different looks!   

some may ask when’s the best time to have engagement pictures taken? there is no good or bad time frame to take engagement pictures. if you have plenty of time, pick your favorite season and let’s schedule something! if you’re pressing for time, let’s get something on the books. whatever you do, just make sure you take them in plenty of time to get them back for your invitations if you plan on using them for that!
